Listen to Obituary

Ian V. O' Dierno, 34, of Abrams, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on April 14, 2026.

He was born on December 19, 1991, to Ken and Margaret (Reinhard) O'Dierno in Escanaba, Michigan. He had a typical boys childhood with his older brother, Ryan. He graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 2009 and attended Michigan Tech. He worked many years at Sandalwood Golf Club and worked at Kia Metro in Madison and Ford Dealership in Champaign, Illinois. He most recently was employed with Heights Finance in Green Bay.

He met the love of his life, Marissa Salinas, in June 2021, where Ian drove two hours to her so they can go on their first date. Together they lived in Champaign with their dog, Geely, before moving to Green Bay to be closer to his family and friends. Ian and Marissa loved going to the zoo, exploring different parts of Wisconsin, trying new food together and genuinely loved enjoying each others company. As Ian said and was a huge believer in, "It was not what you were doing, but who you were with that mattered."

Ian and Marissa were to be married in October of this year, which he was very excited for and looking forward to his future with Marissa and her family.

Ian loved golfing, cooking, cars, Star Trek and spending time outdoors exploring. He found joy in the little challenges in life to prove he was right. Ian was typically an introverted person, but was his genuine self around his family and friends. He was also known for his comebacks, people who met him usually thought of him as sassy and funny.

Ian is survived by his loving fiancée, Marissa; his parents, Ken and Margaret; his brother, Ryan and his wife, Nikole; his niece and God-daughter, Kadence; Marissa's parents, Sylvia and Gregorio Salinas Sr.; brother-in-law to be, Gregorio Salinas Jr; his Uncle Joe Reinhard; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his both maternal grandparents, Vincent and Babe Reinhard; and paternal grandparents, Eugene and Margaret O'Dierno.
