Germaine Aulik

Germaine M. Aulik, aged 98, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1927, in Casco, Wisconsin, to the late Joseph and Louise (LeCaptain) Dhuey. Germaine was a proud graduate of Casco High School.

On July 18, 1951, Germaine married John Aulik at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Casco, Wisconsin. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage before John's passing on September 1, 2007.

A woman of unwavering faith, Germaine was actively involved in Nativity of Our Lord Parish and the Knights of Columbus. She cherished the annual retreats on Chambers Island with the Green Bay Diocese, found solace in watching EWTN, and included everyone in her daily prayers.

Germaine was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. In her younger years, she and John shared a love for square dancing and attending church picnics. They also dedicated their time to volunteering at Woodside Lutheran Home, where they brought comfort and companionship to the residents. Family was of utmost importance to Germaine, and spending time with her loved ones brought her immense joy.

Germaine is survived by her children: Mary (Dean) Goss, Tom (Jane) Aulik, James Aulik, and Joe (Cathy) Aulik; as well as 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law, Suzanne, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Germaine was preceded in death by her son, John Aulik, and five siblings.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Chapel, located at 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Allouez Catholic Chapel Mausoleum. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Germaine's name may be directed to Nativity of Our Lord Parish.
