Gerald A. Kosnar, 94, of Green Bay, passed away on March 12, 2024 at St Vincent Hospital. He was born on October 29, 1929 to Arthur and Marie (Bertrand) Kosnar in Green Bay. On April 11, 1955, he married Nancy Lenz. Their marriage was blessed with seven children. He proudly served our country in the Army. Gerald worked as a Manufacturer Sales Rep for Kosnar Sales. He loved boating, golf, tennis, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Gerald enjoyed visiting and spending time with friends and meeting them for dinner.
Gerald is survived by his loving children: Amy J. (Paul) Parker, Suzette M. Kosnar, Julie A. (Mark) Heyrman, William A. Kosnar, Tina L. Kosnar, M.D., Jessica A. Kosnar, and Jennifer C. Kosnar; seven grandchildren: Emily and Matthew, Angelica, Sarah and James, Nicole and Kelli; six great-grandchildren: Aiden, Liam, Nolan, Riley, Charlotte, and Christian; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nancy, one sister, Jane (Joseph) Mornard, and one sister-in-law Linda (James) Felber.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, April 8, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe Ave, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am with Father Brian Belongia. Burial will take place in the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
