Gary "Skip" L. Borremans, age 79, passed away suddenly on November 21, 2022. He was born August 28, 1943, in Green Bay, WI, to Al and Joyce (Meggers) Borremans. Skip was a 1961 graduate of Our Lady of Premontre High School in Green Bay, WI. He served in the National Guard in his 20s and married Ruth Ann J. (Sievert) Borremans March 31, 1969 in Chicago, IL.
Skip learned the value of hard work early on by working at the family business, Borremans Dairy, as a young man. He spent the early and mid-1970s as an over-the-road (OTR) truck driver, which allowed him to see every corner of the country. His career in Truck and Heavy Equipment sales began in 1976, an industry he loved. Skip never officially retired; he negotiated his last deal at age 78 in the summer of 2022.
Over those 45+ years Skip forged countless bonds and friendships. He had a genuine knack for connecting with people and was always available to lend helping hand to anyone.
Additionally, Skip was avid downhill skier, water skier, and golfer. He also had a passion for the outdoors; he absolutely loved spending time with friends and family in the Colorado Mountains and Wisconsin Northwoods.
Last but not least, Skip had an unmatched sense of humor. He had countless colorfully hilarious sayings that will live on forever for those who knew him best.
Skip is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann; sons, Chad and Branden; nephews, Peter and Mike Borremans. Family, friends, and others whose lives Skip touched are invited to the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54301 to gather from 1 pm - 3 pm with a service to follow at 3 pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2020, to reminisce, grieve, laugh, and support each other.
