Edward Schuster II

Edward Schuster II, 78, of Hobart, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026 with his loving wife by his side after a long battle with his health. He was born on July 24, 1947 to Donald and Jeannette (De Witt) Schuster.

Edward graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1965. He had a love for 1967 GTOs. He attended Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa and St. Norbert College in De Pere. Edward was proud to work in the family business for 20 years at Schuster Construction Company in Green Bay. He was a director for the Ready Mix Concrete Association and Wisconsin Paving Association. He later worked for Vinton Construction Company in Manitowoc as a Project Manager for over 25 years until his retirement.

On May 5, 1973, he married the love of his life Marcia Schuster (Hussong). They were blessed with 52 years of marriage.

Edward was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed white tailed deer hunting and trips to Wyoming to hunt mule deer. He enjoyed special times in Dunbar and Pembine hunting with friends, and was known as the "Camp Boss". Edward loved snowmobiling, four wheeling, and socializing with his great neighbors.

Edward is survived by his wife, Marcia; his daughter: Dr. Lauren Demos (partner Tom Reynolds) of Wales, UK; his sister, Christina (James) Wangerin; his brother, Jonathon Schuster and his niece, Dr. Meredith (David) Evans. Edward is further survived by three great-nephews: Henry, Alex, and Charlie; other loved ones and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Chris Schuster.

Edward's family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Ashley Proehl for the excellent care and kindness she provided.

"No one is promised tomorrow, now is all you have. Death is just a moment, life is everything else leading up to it." Ed lived his life to the fullest.
