Edward J. Puckett

Edward J. "Eddie" Puckett, age 44, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, September 18, 2023. He was born in Iron River, MI, November 7, 1978, son of the late Herman L. Puckett Sr. and Susan (Kunath) Puckett-Ehlers.

Eddie graduated from West Iron County High School, Class of 1998, where he played football. He married Nicole Heikkila, April 14, 2009 in Clearwater, FL. The job he took the most pride in was being a pipeline surveyor for many years.

Eddie was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to cheer on the Green Bay Packers.

Edward is survived by his wife, Nicole; his 3 sons: Dolan, Brayden and Austin; his mother, Susan Puckett-Ehlers and 4 siblings: Lori (Alvin) Frederick, Melice (Dave) Carr, Herman (Alicia) Puckett Jr., Shannon (Ashley) Puckett. He is further survived by Dolan's mom, Nicole Dobson McPherson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman L. Puckett Sr.

Private services were held by Edward's family. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
