Earl M. Miller

May 8, 1949 — November 10, 2022

Earl "Butch" M. Miller, age 73, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was born on May 8, 1949 in Tacoma, Washington the son of the late Earl L. and Margie (Brockman) Miller. He proudly served our country from 1968 obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant before his medical retirement in 1983. On March 14, 1970 he was united in marriage to Diane Snover, their marriage was blessed with three daughters. They celebrated their 50th anniversary before Diane's passing in 2020. Butch enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Westerns. He was a life long Packer fan, and was active in the MS Society and Challenge the Outdoors. Butch received the rank of second degree Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-do at the age of 47 after being diagnosed with MS. Butch had a philosophy: the more you do the more you can do. He believed that all ailments could be cured with a bowl of plain vanilla ice cream. He was a father figure to many of his daughters friends.

Butch is survived by his three daughters: Amy Miller, Beth (Ben) Dow, and Candy Miller; five grandchildren: Abigail Bruegl, Emma (Andrew) LeMere, Mya Miller, Brenton Dow, and Percy Dow; two sisters, one brother, and further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Diane of 50 years, and one son, Michael.
