Duane F. Shevey

Duane F. Shevey, 73, of Coleman, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 27, 2026. He was born on February 5, 1953 to Rallie and Ruby (Sohns) Shevey.

Duane worked at Patz Pallet until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed music, gardening, and building birdhouses. Duane was a member of Section 8 Baptist Church in Pound.

Duane is survived by his loving sisters, Gail Cudnoski and Vicki Hazen; his sister-in-law, Debbie Sage; and his brother-in-law, Chris Brewer. Duane was further survived by many nieces and nephews: Chris, Cory, Jessica, Andy, Avery, Tim, Cassie, Jennifer, Ian, Mikey and their children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Shevey, his father, Rallie Shevey; his sister, Laurie Kopish; his brother, Ryan Shevey; his infant brother, Randall Shevey; and his brother-in-laws, Tim Cudnoski and Al Nickels.

Duane's family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
