Douglas "Doug" S. Rymer

Douglas "Doug" S. Rymer, 91, of Lena, passed away on January 11, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home.

He was born on August 18, 1934 to Douglas and Verna (Smith) Rymer in Fond Du Lac County, Wisconsin. Doug served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War from 1952-1955. In 1967, he married Irene Konkel.

Doug loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed gardening with his wife.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Irene; children: Kim Lemerond, Vicki Rymer, Mark Rymer, Terri Stowe, Kelly (Lynn) Stowe, Steve (Melissa) Rymer, Dawn (Don) Trevor, Karla (Ross) Engel and Melinda (Ryan) Roesch; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren; and five siblings.
