Dorothy M. Krueger

Dorothy M. Krueger, age 97, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 26, 2025. She was born March 25, 1928 in Hortonville, WI, daughter of the late George and Helen (Spreeman) Gabriel.

Dorothy was a graduate of Hortonville High School. She married Grant Krueger, March 29, 1952 in Appleton, WI. They celebrated 53 years of marriage before Grant passed away on February 28, 2006.

Dorothy was a devoted wife and loving mother, caring for her son, Scott. Before she became a mother, she worked as a secretary for an insurance firm. In her free time, Dorothy enjoyed golfing and gardening.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Scott, a sister-in-law, Joan Krueger, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Lucille Tull and 3 brothers: Bernard, Herbert and Arnold.

Visitation will be held at St. Agnes Parish (1484 9th St., Green Bay, WI), Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in Dorothy's name are appreciated.

Dorothy's son would like to extend his gratitude to the staff at Tender Hearts and to St. Croix Hospice for their care and compassion.
