Donald Polcen, aged 67, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on August 2, 2026, after a brave struggle with declining health at Bellin Health Hospital. He was born on August 7, 1958, to Irving and Doris (Markham) Polcen in Bailey Harbor, WI. Donald married the love of his life, Debbie Hirthe, on June 30, 1976, and they spent many cherished years together. He dedicated decades of his career as a parts specialist in the automotive sales industry.
Don found joy in fishing and adored racing with his grandson, Brady, while treasuring every moment spent with his family.
He is survived by his devoted son, Don (Rose) Polcen, and daughter, Kelly (Cody) Vincent. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Michael (Morgan) Routhieaux, Chloe Polcen, and Brady Polcen (Hailey Zastrow); and his great-grandson, Miles. He also leaves behind his siblings, Mark Polcen and Janet Polcen, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved wife, Debbie.
A Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been his birthday, August 7, 2026, at Stone Quarry, George K. Pinney County Park in Sturgeon Bay, WI, from 11 a.m. until dusk, inviting all to honor his memory through fishing and fellowship.
The family requests memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses. They extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bellin's Transitional Care and Dr. Serushan for their compassionate care and support.
