Donald J. O'Keefe, 74, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 24, 2026.

He was born on December 26, 1951 to Pat & Carol O'Keefe in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from East De Pere High School in 1970. Following his graduation, he entered the United States Air Force, where he served until his retirement in January 1990.

May of 1981, he married Terri Hannon, then traveled the world with her and her 3 children: Tyler, Casey and Jamie. Upon retirement from the Air Force, the family moved back to Green Bay, where Don worked as a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 20 years.

Don was a proud grandfather to Cullen, Andrew "Drew" and Lauryn. He was also an uncle to many.

Don loved taking care of his family’s needs and spending time with them. He also enjoyed fixing things. He was an avid Packer fan and also loved watching the History Channel. He also cherished his pets, his pocket knife and his power tools.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Terri; his children: Tyler Plog, Casey Plog and Jamie Plog; his grandchildren: Cullen O'Keefe, Andrew (Destiny Blanz) Foley and Lauryn Foley; his brothers, Jim (Linda) O'Keefe and Tim O'Keefe; and his sister, Maureen (Dave) Norman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat & Carol O’Keefe; his brother, Mike O’Keefe; and his sister, Kathy Wilson.

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2 - 5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, Wisconsin, 54301. Military Honors will conclude the gathering at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family are preferred.
