David W. McAllister, 80, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully after a long illness on July 18, 2025. He was born on February 7, 1945 to Winston and Thelma McAllister. David graduated from West High School in 1964.
David was an avid fisherman and hunter. He especially enjoyed the outdoors and spending time at Boulder Lake. David had a love for speed, including his fast cars and motorcycles. David was an artist, and his hobbies included playing guitar, drawing, gardening, and leatherwork. He was also a Vietnam veteran.
David is survived by his loving fiancée, Diane Brown; his children: Debbie (Mike May) McAllister and Michelle (Joe) Eggener; grandchildren: Shawn (Allie) Schuessler, Taylor (Brett) McGillivray, Casey (Ray) Scimemi, Eric (Demi) Peters, Mollie Krueger, Katrina Krueger, Joseph Eggener, Shelby (Adam) Eggener, and Taylor (Kaden) Stahlke; great-grandchildren: Gavin, Owen, Paislee, Kyler, Weston, Takota, Landon, Tony, Emberly, Jonah, and Sutton; his sister, Louise Volkmann; and his godchild, Edward Zentmeyer. David is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and friends. He is also survived by Linda, Judy and her children, Amy (Jim) and Anna, and Amy's children: Aurora, Jacob, Lindsey, and Sasha.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his godchild, Jamie Wiese; and his special friend, Darwin May. David is also reunited with his beloved black lab, Ebony.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David's name may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America - Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Celebration of Life will follow immediately at 6:00 pm.
