David A. Garrity

David A. Garrity, 60, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 17, 2026.

He was born on December 11, 1965, to Roger and Carlotta (Weihbrecht) Garrity in Racine, Wisconsin. He graduated from Bayport High School in 1984. He worked in the Local Union Labor #330. He also worked with his father in the Garage.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and going out with friends and family to have a good time. He liked spending time and taking care of his family members. His mother was the most special person in his heart and spent the last few years living with and taking care of her.

He was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in 2018 and fought hard and overcame the cancer. He then was unfortunately diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in September of 2025.

David is survived by his loving mother, Carlotta; his siblings: Christopher (Nadine), Kevin (Mike), Todd (Kelly), Sandra (Bob), Shawn (Heather), Shelly (Randy), Roger, Brenda (Jim) and Jacob; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger; his sister, Susan; his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life honoring David will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Watering Hole, 2107 Velp Ave., Green Bay, Wisconsin. Family and friends who knew David are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate his life and share memories over pizza and chicken wings.
