Dave Nass, 60, of Green Bay, passed away on January 18, 2026.
Dave was born on June 27, 1965 to Charles and Joan (Zutz) Nass in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School in 1983. He went to Lakeshore Technical College and earned an Associate's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering. On July 8, 1989, he married Dianne Krahn in Brillion, Wisconsin. He worked most of his life as a Reactor Operator at Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant. Following the plant's closure, he was hired on as an Operations and Maintenance Specialist for Energy Solutions.
Dave cherished time spent with his family and friends. A devoted and proud father, he was an unwavering supporter of his three children and could always be found attending their sporting events. He and his family also enjoyed traveling together and making lasting memories.
Dave had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, and boating. A true “jack of all trades,” he seemed to know a little about everything and was always ready with an answer or a solution. No matter the problem, Dave had a way of fixing things and making them better.
His most recent project was building a vacation home on a 20-acre parcel in Door County, where he looked forward to spending his retirement with family and friends.
Dave’s faith was an important part of his life. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and took great care to raise his family with Christian values.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dianne; children: Jamie Nass, Jordan (girlfriend, Ally Rupiper) Nass and Britney (fiancé, Calvin Christensen) Nass; his dogs, Zoey and Jaden; a special aunt, Maralynn Nass; and other aunts, uncles and further relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle, Danny Nass; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
A Funeral Service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3186 Eaton Rd, Green Bay, WI 54311, at 11 AM on Saturday, January 24, 2026. A visitation will begin at 10 AM at the church until the time of the service. A wake will be held the night prior on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the church from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
The family prefers no flowers.
Dave will forever be loved and missed, especially for his never-ending positive attitude and his witty humor.
