Daniel "Dan" Guyton

Daniel “Dan” Guyton, 77, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3rd in an assisted living facility in Berlin, WI.

Dan was born on March 19th, 1948 in Winfield, Alabama to Elgin and Bessi Guyton. Dan grew up in Alabama with his siblings, Joseph, Johnny, and Doris. He often talked about going back to Alabama, but he resided in Metropolitan Milwaukee and Greater Green Bay area most of his life. Dan enjoyed auto body and mechanics prior to his disability. Tri-five Chevys were his favorite. He also restored a '54 Ford F100 and many other classics. Dan had a passion for music. He loved blues music. One could often find him with a guitar or harmonica in his hands. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time at the casino and family gatherings.

Collectively, Dan had 10 children, he is survived by: Lonnie (Michelle) Zwieschowski, Devia (Justice) Danel, Brandon (Jenna Leigh) Guyton, Chanler (fiancée Heather) Guyton, Daniel Lydell “Danny” Guyton, Jamel Guyton, Theresa (Adam) Kaukatosh, Jesse (Regina) Guyton, Jessica Dewey and Sara Dewey; Dan was a proud grandpa of 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; he is further survived by his sister, Doris (the late Willie) Spencer.

Dan was preceded in death by his former life partners, Barbara Zwieschowski and Mary Biese; his parents; and his brothers, Joseph Guyton and Johnny Guyton.

With heavy hearts we will miss you “Pops”. Your memories, humor and joy will live on as we ask the Lord to receive you with opens arms.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 9, 2025 from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54301). A Funeral Ceremony will be held immediately following at 5:00 pm.
