Dallas Earl Miller

June 18, 1933 — May 19, 2025

Green Bay, WI

Dallas Earl Miller went to be with his Lord & Savior on May 19, 2025, with his family by his side.

He was born on June 18, 1933, in Algoma WI, to William & Della (Holtdorp) Miller. He grew up in Kewaunee County & Door County, attending Elementary & Junior High at Washington School in Two Rivers, then graduating from Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek.

Dallas married his sweetheart, Ella Jane Chike, on October 28, 1953, and enjoyed 71 years together. They lived most of their years in Green Bay. Dallas enjoyed bowling, golf, softball and playing cards. He was a huge Packer fan & enjoyed traveling, with their 50th anniversary 31-day trip to Hawaii being their most memorable. After retiring, he enjoyed his summers in Green Bay & winters in Florida, playing dominos & cribbage with his family, every chance he could.

He was a veteran in the US Army, serving in the Korean War. Upon returning home, Dallas began his career at Charmin (Procter & Gamble), and after 36 years, retired in 1992.

Dallas had a strong Christian faith in God, ushering at Central Assembly of God in Green Bay, and singing in ORO’s own church choir in Florida.

He was a proud father, amazing grandpa & great-grandpa. He enjoyed family gatherings, and was loved by all, for his humor, wit, and overall fun-loving presence.

Survived by his loving wife, Ellie Miller; sons: Duane (Debbie) Miller, David Miller, Dan (Becky) Miller; grandkids: Melissa (Matt) Umentum, Brandon Miller (Kellye DeVault), Melanie (Dominik) Miller, Ryan Miller (Nhue Vang), Kristin (Andrew) Pauls; great-grandkids: Izabella, Vanessa, Joshua, Amy, Sam, Miley, Holly, Jaylina, Beckham, and Henry. Also survived by his sister-in-law, Marlene Chike, and brother/sister-in-law, Don (Carol) Chike; and many nieces & nephews.
