Colin "Corky" P. Bergh

January 19, 1942 — April 20, 2025

Colin "Corky" P. Bergh, 83, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025. Born on January 19, 1942, to Hans Orrien and Bernice (Krueger) Bergh, Corky lived a life rich in experiences and cherished relationships.

Raised on the family dairy farm in Little Suamico, Corky developed a strong work ethic and a deep connection to the land. He graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1960, where he distinguished himself as an exceptional offensive lineman. Known for his athletic prowess, Corky garnered attention from colleges, even being noted in the paper at the time, he was compared in ability and size to a NFL lineman from the Detroit Lions. Yet chose to remain local and build a life with his first wife, Patricia, while raising their family in Little Suamico.

Throughout his career, Corky worked as a truck driver and found joy at Schreiber Cheese. In later years, he married Rosalind Rohr, who preceded him in 2021. Together, they enjoyed traveling, exploring farmer's markets, and participating in farm shows, where they actively promoted Watkins Products. Corky's dedication earned him numerous awards as a top regional seller.

A lover of all things agricultural, Corky collected two-cylinder John Deere and Oliver tractors. He treasured visiting his son’s hobby farm, helping out with hay raking, and immersing himself in the farm life. His friendly nature and sociable spirit brought him countless friends, whether he was sharing a soda at the bar, enjoying coffee at a diner, or attending tractor shows.

Corky is survived by his children, Christopher (Carol) Bergh and Patti (Jeff) Freeman; his grandchildren, Cody, Felicia, and Melissa; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Rae, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rosalind, and his brother, John Bergh.
