Christopher Styles Norton

Christopher "Chris" Styles Norton, 62, of De Pere, Wisconsin, passed away on June 6, 2024 after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. He died peacefully in his sleep in De Pere, WI. Chris was a beloved father, brother, and friend to many.

Born in Kenosha, WI, moving to De Pere, WI in his early teen years, attending East De Pere high school where he participated in activities such as choir, swing choir and cross country. Unsurprising to those who had the privilege of knowing Chris' distinct wit and charm, he was named "Class Flirt" in his high school yearbook. That unique Chris Norton charm, coupled with his love of music and his loud sound system, would often lead to a Sunday morning of dancing in the living room with his kids. Chris loved being outdoors, you would frequently catch him outside, camping, hiking or out on a boat with friends when given the opportunity.

Chris dedicated his professional life to the world of sales. After years as a successful jeweler at Rogers and Hollands, he was able to hone in on his love of cars and sales, merging the two and working at Gandrud Automotive for many years. Chris always had a talent for connecting with others, as well as his love for cars and the auto industry, that he'd passionately share with anyone who'd listen. Outside of work, he found joy in attending races at Road America, maintaining his fitness at the gym, and meticulously working on and detailing his Miata. Chris proudly spent many hours volunteering at the Aurora Cancer Center in Green Bay, WI, where he was an advocate and friend to fellow cancer patients as they battled their own brave fights, often leaning on Chris for support.

He is survived by his children Taelor (Paige) Norton, Brady Norton, Sophia Hermann, his beloved dogs Jhett and Riley, three brothers, stepfather, nieces, and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Bradford Norton, and mother, Vicki Sunderland.

Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew him, as his unmistakable vibrant spirit and warm presence touched the lives of anyone who was lucky enough to meet him. A heartfelt thank you to all who provided medical care throughout Chris' life. May he rest in peace.
