Christine Marie Pleuss (Skaletski), 73, Green Bay, WI, Alhambra, CA, Honolulu, HI, passed from this earth to her eternal reward on May, 8th, 2025 with her dear family close by.
She was born on December 26, 1951 in Green Bay, WI to the late Dalen Skaletski (2016) and Grace (Van Den Heuvel) (2023). She attended St. Joseph Elementary and Green Bay West High School in Green Bay.
Christine was a beloved mother of three children, survived by: Jesse (Patty McLaughlin) Pleuss - Grandchildren - Declan and Maizie, Jonathan (Kim Boutot) Pleuss - Grandson Rylan, and Gretchen Pleuss - Granddaughter Kiana Ahovelo.
Christine also leaves surviving siblings, Bob Skaletski, Crivitz, WI, Mark (Gayle St. Aubin) Skaletski, Green Bay, WI, Lonie Walker, Chicago, IL (World Traveler), Julie (Charles Schlessinger), Little Rock, AR, Jill Frances (Prior Lake, MN.), Ben Skaletski (Vicky Byng), Ripon, WI, Bert Skaletski (Jarmila), Germany.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Rasmussen, her nephews, Louis Rowe and Godson Joseph Rasmussen.
Christine worked for many years at both Pleuss & Sons, Insulation and Fort Howard Paper, Green Bay; however, her adventurous and entrepreneurial spirit brought her to Honolulu, HI to expand on her curiosity for living a fuller life. Her adventures included trips to Asia, Europe and Central America. Many of those excursions included work for the benefit of Catholic missions. She later moved to Alhambra, CA, to be closer to family, and was a devout Catholic and choir member at St. Therese parish. She spent countless hours, making and praying the Rosary for Pro-Life causes. Christine loved all things Irish (music, dancing and spirit). She found herself at Irish festivals through-out the country. She cherished her grandchildren and their interests | Kiana - singing, Declan - hockey, Maizie - Irish dance, and Rylan being a beautiful and spirited little boy. They affectionately called her Tutu (Grandparent in Hawaiian). Her love of family went beyond her own immediate, as she led numerous family reunions, gatherings and family tree history. Her devotion to the Catholic faith with the love she shared with so many, will be sadly missed.
