Christine M. Murphy, age 70, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, with her family at her side. She was born June 6, 1953 in Sioux Falls, SD, daughter of the late Maurice and Agnes (Taylor) Murphy and was a graduate of Green Bay East High.
Chris shared 44 years with the love of her life, Lee Tonnon.
Christine enjoyed crocheting and she loved animals.
Christine is survived by her partner, Lee; children, Marsha Nytes and Jason (Sara) Murphy; a grandson, Cade Benz and 2 siblings, Lynne Murphy and Tim Murphy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings: Danny, Rick and Jeff Murphy.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 1 to 3 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM.
Christine's family would like to extend their gratitude to Aurora At-Home Hospice for their care and compassion.
