Cecilia M. Hintz

Cecilia M. Hintz, age 96, passed away on May 17, 2026.

Cecilia was born November 21, 1929 in Wausau, WI to the late Alvina (Breske) and John J. Hintz.

Cecilia graduated with the class of 1947 from Wausau Sr. High. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and was employed there in administration and as an academic and career counselor, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of the UW - Green Bay Alumni Association, UW - Green Bay Retiree Association and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Rose 1062 for more than 75 years.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Henry T. Hintz, her sister Esther M. Kipp, an infant nephew John, nephew James, and great nephew Justin.

Survivors include two nephews: Timothy (Sandy) Kipp and Thomas (Nola Hoen-Kipp) Kipp. Also surviving are 5 great nephews: Nathan (Jean), Bryce (Julie), Ryan (Michelle), Brandon (Karri) and Joel (Lacey); three great-great nieces: Emma, Harper and Quinn; five great-great nephews: Anderson, Broderick, Hudson, Wells and Logan; and many special relatives and friends.

A visitation will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 740 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 2:45 PM at Restlawn Cemetery in Wausau, WI.
