Catherine M. "Cathy" Hermes

Catherine M. "Cathy" Hermes, age 66, of Suamico, passed away peacefully at her home, Saturday, June 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 7, 1959 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late Richard and Yvonne (Johnson) Pigeon and was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School.

Cathy shared 44 happy years of marriage with her husband Tom. Cathy was a hard worker her whole life and worked many different jobs, eventually ending up at Oneida Casino, where she worked for over 20 years. She enjoyed taking care of her customers and cheering them on. She made many good friends while working at the casino. Cathy was kind, generous, and always there when anyone needed her.

Cathy and Tom enjoyed fishing together and playing cards with family. Cathy loved to cheer on the Packers and listen to The Beatles and The Guess Who. She also liked reading, going to the casinos, and playing games with her granddaughter Katie. Cathy most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Thomas; 2 children, Jackie Hermes and Max Hermes; a granddaughter, Katie Keating and 4 siblings: Margaret "Peggy" Brusky, John (Marianne) Pigeon, Sue (Jim) Miller and Robert "Bob" (Jean) Pigeon. She is further survived by a brother-in-law, Mark Poels, many nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and German Shepherd, Scout.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pamela Poels.

Per Cathy's wishes, no services will be held.
