Carol Wilkey

Carol Wilkey, age 71, of Green Bay, passed away on May 28, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 2, 1954 to Ralph and Marie (Clark) Staszak in Green Bay, WI.

Carol had a passion for knowledge; and could always be found with a book in her hands. She could dive into any literature that caught her eye, regardless of the topic, especially the Bible. Her passion for reading brought her so much joy throughout her life; and she shared that love with everyone throughout her life. Carol was a gifted cook, she loved getting to host her family on Christmas and could be found cooking way more food than anyone could ever eat. She took immense pride in herself, having gone back to school to earn her Bachelors Degree from UWGB.

Carol was strong willed, with a great sense of humor. She was the kindest person, willing to do anything to help out a stranger. Carol was blessed with three wonderful children with Greg Dachelet. She had the greatest sense of pride and joy in kids, and absolutely adored her grandkids and great-grandkids. She later in life found her soul mate in Jeff Wilkey, and they were united in marriage on April 28, 1992.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Jeff, her three children; Brian (Paulette) Staszak, Mike (Mandy) Dachelet, and Nicole Dachelet, her 7 grandkids; Kenneth, Cody, Brandon, Hope, Emalee, Justin, and Sophia, and 8 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Jean (Dan) McClannahan, Ken Staszak, and Ellen (Bill) Blaszczak, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Marie.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer (340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI).
