Carol Ann Spencer

Carol Ann Spencer, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on August 18, 1950, to Harriett (Charneski) and Harvey Gilson, Carol graduated from Bay Port High School in 1968. She lived in Crandon, WI and Argonne, WI for many years before returning to Green Bay to be closer to her work and family. Carol was a dedicated professional, spending 29 years at Aon before her well-deserved retirement in 2022.

Carol’s true passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. She treasured the weekends spent at the family cabin in Alvin and looked forward to traditional weekend supper club outings with her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eileen and Earl. Back home, she and her husband Randy were regulars at the Stadium View Bar in Green Bay, where they built a cherished second family of close friends.

An exceptional cook and baker, Carol spent years tending to a large garden alongside Randy. Her kitchen was always filled with the aromas of her special recipes and fresh canning. She was widely known as a mother to everyone she met, greeting everyone with open arms, a welcoming smile, and a huge hug.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Randy Spencer; her children, Lisa (Dan) Novak, Stacy Luedeman (fiancée Craig), and Aaron (Jessy) Spencer; and her cherished grandchildren, Austin Novak, Hannah Luedeman, and Emma Luedeman.

A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
