Carol Ann Kizior, 75, of Green Bay, peacefully passed away on September 23, 2025 at Jack and Engrid Meng Residence. She was born on March 20, 1950 to Roman and Florence (Dumanowski) Kizior in Green Bay. Carol was a life-long member at Saints Peter and Paul and went to grade school there. She graduated from East High School in 1968 and furthered her education at UW-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology Growth and Development, graduating in 1972. She then received a state of WI elementary teaching certification for Nursery, Preschool, and Kindergarten. Carol began her career teaching in the Green Bay Public Schools from 1972-1978. She then transitioned to manufacturing in August 1978 working in production at American Can Corp, James River Paper Company, and Georgia Pacific. Carol primarily worked for 35 years in Tissue converting departments running a variety of high speed equipment. She retired from Georgia Pacific in January 2013.
Carol had an unparalleled zeal for gardening! She was known for her beautiful flowers and landscaping and was the envy of the neighborhood. She was passionate for dogs and was a proud owner of a golden retriever. Her long time furry companion, Fancy, was her pride and joy. Carol donated personal time and funds to many charities. She supported and volunteered annually in the Toys for Tots and the Coats for Kids programs. She was a 15-year volunteer in the PALS program; being a role model and mentor for children (3-17 years old). She was especially dedicated to 3 of the girls during that time. Her other discretionary time was spent supporting family and friends, near and far. Carol's nieces and nephews, and their children, have always been a huge part of her life. She was the favorite aunt that was always doing something special for them. She had a remarkable knack for selecting the best gifts for birthdays and Christmas.
Carol will always be known for being a very direct, structured, and detailed person on the surface, but beneath that surface she was a very kind, caring, and generous person that will be deeply missed.
Carol is survived by her loving sisters: Betty (Denis) Faltynski and Karen (Bernie) Demerath; her beloved nieces and nephew: Heather(Scott) Schuette, Matthew (Laura) Faltynski, and Kristin (Michael) Zalewski; Carol is further survived by 8 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, John (Donna) Kizior.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Saints Peter and Paul, 720 N. Baird Street, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am with Father Jose Lopez officiating. Internment will take place at Assumption BVM Cemetery, Pulaski.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kling at Emplify (Bellin) and Unity Hospice for all their care, comfort, and compassion that was given to Carol and the family.
