Brigitte Marie Heft

Brigitte Marie Heft, 38, of the Madison area, left her earthly body on August 3, 2022 and is now at peace.

Brigitte was born in Platteville, Wisconsin on November 16, 1983 to Paul and Lisa Burns.

Brigitte grew up in the Madison area, graduated from Verona Area High School in 2002, and later went on to earn an associate degree in Marketing and an associate degree in Fashion Design from Madison Area Technical College (2006). She then went on to cosmetology school. She was able to blend these interests working at Ulta Resources in their marketing department.

Brigitte really enjoyed the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas! She eagerly awaited for her favorite holiday movies to begin playing on TV, her favorites being Hocus Pocus, Elf and The Christmas Story. These cherished movies would play over and over throughout the season, she never tired of them, even the 24 hour marathons. She and her mom both enjoyed preparing for the holidays, decorating and designing costumes together. Brigitte loved her 2 children, Aubrey and Caleb, and passed along many of those traditions to them.

She had taken an interest in fishing some years ago and found that she really enjoyed that peaceful time. She also enjoyed relaxing with her favorite reality and crime TV shows. In addition to her other favorite pastimes, she absolutely loved hair and makeup. Fashion was her forte. She was a huge fan of Michael Jackson and to her surprise, there was a Michael Jackson impersonator performing at the resort where her wedding reception was held. She was so excited that she and her bridesmaids were able to have a photo taken with him.

Brigitte is survived by her father and his wife Janet; ex- husband Josh and their 2 children, Aubrey and Caleb; her brother, Brad; her grandfathers and grandmother; special friend, Heath, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother; 2 grandmothers, and an uncle.

Visitation for Brigitte will be held at Newcomer Green Bay Chapel on Saturday, August 13, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm. The Celebration of Life will be officiated by her cousin, Pastor Elizabeth Lee.
