Brenda Rukamp-Nelson

Brenda Rukamp-Nelson, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 30, 2026. She was born on January 31, 1964, in Green Bay, to Jerome and Patricia "Patsy" Rukamp.

A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Brenda enjoyed sharing her days with her family where they built a life full of cherished memories. Brenda was a loving wife to James Nelson, her husband of 10 years. And a kind and caring mother to her children, Nathan (Michelle) Kline and Bobbi (Andrew Salentine) Kline, and her two grandchildren. She was also close to her siblings; Cheryl Rukamp-Corrigan, Susan (Charles) Hoogland, Kathy (Tom) Rukamp-Buechler, and Mark (Amy) Rukamp.

Brenda found great joy in spending time with her friends, and she and Jim had weekly time dedicated to them. She loved traveling their yearly trips to Mexico, where she fell in love with the beautiful beaches on her honeymoon with Jim. Equally treasured were their visits to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where they enjoyed spending time with Sue and Chuck.

Brenda's life was a testament to the warmth of heartfelt relationships and the quiet joy found in the simple pleasures of friendship and travel. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
