Beverly "Bev" Ann Powers

Beverly "Bev" Ann Powers, age 85, Townsend resident, passed away Tuesday, September 15,  2026. She was born on September 22, 1940 to the late Norbert Sr. and Pearl (Johnson) Phillips in Green Bay, WI. Beverly married Thomas Charles Powers on June 22, 1956. The couple resided in Green Bay and Batavia until moving to Townsend in 1978. There, they were the owners and operators of The Townsend Restaurant and Powers Service Center.

Surviving are her eight children: Debbie (Guy) Selsmeyer, Mike Powers, Sheri (Tim) Stephani, Tom (Lori) Powers, Vickie (Clint) Aderholdt, Tony (Ginger) Powers, Chris (Pat) Linssen and Lisa (Larry) Bath; grandchildren: Alyx Selsmeyer, Clay Selsmeyer, Tim Stephani, Tara Stephani, Mandy Powers, Tom Powers, Tyler Powers, Nikki Gerhard, Sean Aderholdt, Cody Aderholdt, Autumn Kadow, Anthony Powers Jr., Jerimiah Powers, Jenny Powers, Ryan Powers, Cody Powers, Jordan Powers, Hailee Powers, Dalton Aderholdt and Mindy Linssen; great-grandchildren: Beau Selsmeyer, Kaiya Selsmeyer, and Lettie Bell Selsmeyer, Jerry Powers, Easton Gerhard, Gavin Gerhard, Keira Aderholdt, Liam Aderholdt, Kia Aderholdt, Riley Aderholdt, Colby Aderholdt, Clinton Kadow, Jackson Kadow, Teagon Powers, Mikela Powers, Maddy Powers, Taylor Powers, Leighton Powers, Mya Powers, Morgan Powers, Amelia Powers, Dani Powers, Jameson Powers, Levi Gust, Maverick Gust, Winifred Gust, Hudson Gust, Finley Gust, Cash Aderholdt, Kassidee Linssen, Kraylee Lissen, and Aubree Linssen; and her great-great-grandson, Anton Kerscher.

Bev is preceded in death her loving husband, Thomas Charles Powers; her parents: Norbert Sr. and Pearl (Johnson) Phillips; her siblings; Sandy Clark, Carol DeMoulin, Richard (Dick) Phillips, Otis Phillips, Ronnie Phillips, Lloyd Phillips, and Norbert Jr. Phillips; her son-in-law, Charles A. Aderholdt; her grandson, Steven L. Bath; and her granddaughter, Becca Reinke.

Bev enjoyed her many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren at the family cabin for the last 70+ years, along with many family vacations.

Please join in the celebration of Beverly Ann Powers life on Friday, October 16, 2026; Visitation from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, WI Oneida Drummers will begin services at 1:00 PM until the time of ceremony at 1:30 PM with Shawn Smith officiating. Meal to follow.
