Beverly Miller, aged 88, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, formerly of Ashland, Wisconsin, departed this world peacefully at her home on January 26, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of her family. Born on December 11, 1937, in Ashland, she was the cherished daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy (Laundrant) Strom. A proud member of the Ashland High School Class of 1956, she carried the spirit of her hometown throughout her life.

Beverly embarked on her professional journey as a telephone operator for Wisconsin Bell in Iron River, Michigan. She married James Miller, and together they made the move to the Green Bay area to further James's career. In Green Bay, Bev’s kindness and dedication shone brightly as they helped establish the Adoptive Parent Association, ultimately welcoming their children, Susan and James, into their hearts before completing their family with the arrival of their daughter, Sheryl.

A lifelong learner, Bev pursued her education at NWTC, earning certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her nurturing spirit was immeasurable as she provided care to the residents at Americana in Green Bay. Later, as a vending hostess with Konop Vending, she embraced the commitment and camaraderie that came with many years of dedicated service.

Beverly was a vibrant soul who approached life with unyielding enthusiasm. Always ready for adventure, she kept her conversion van stocked for spontaneous outings, radiating warmth and joy to everyone she encountered. She found solace and happiness at Middle Inlet on Lake Noquebay, where her laughter echoed through the air. Most cherished of all were her precious grandchildren, who delightfully called her "Grandma Gooseberry."

Beverly leaves behind her loving children: Susan (Mark) DeCleene, James (Terri) Miller, and Sheryl (Jeff) Hendricks. She is fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Dalton (Emily) Hendricks, Ciara (Alex) Yoap, Dawson Hendricks, Dante DeCleene, Sawyer DeCleene, Gunnar DeCleene, Samara DeCleene, Brittany (Troy) Klaus and Ashley (Spencer) Tate, alongside her great-grandchildren, Stetson and Colt Yoap, Noah, Lydia and Alicja Tate and Oakleigh Klaus. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Sue Griffith, and numerous nieces, nephews, and her beloved friend and caretaker, Jodi, who provided unwavering support for eight years.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her brother David Strom, her sister Shirley (Charles) Thomas, and her treasured companion, Herbie Lax.

In honor of Beverly's life, a private celebration will be held at a later date. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Unity Hospice and Christian Servants, particularly Kristi, for their compassionate care.

Beverly Miller’s legacy of love, adventure, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
