Betty Snyder

Betty Snyder, 82, of Green Bay, passed away on November 1, 2026 at Meadowbrook in Oconto Falls, WI. She was born on January 26, 1944 to Louie and Ruby (Spencer) Duprey in Tennessee. She married Gerald "Jerry" Snyder Sr. and they were together for over 50 years. Betty and Jerry enjoyed taking rides on his Goldwing Motorcycle. Before moving to Green Bay, Betty loved working at the Piggly Wiggly in Oconto Falls. Once she moved to Green Bay, she moved into the Fort Howard Apartments. She enjoyed helping at the apartment's store, and visiting with all her neighbors. There was several dog neighbors there and she would insist on dog treats added to her weekly grocery shopping to pass out like candy.

These past few years, Betty enjoyed going on adventures to Door County. Stopping and getting fresh jams and trying new restaurants was a task she looked forward to. Betty cherished the time she spent with her granddaughters, Ruby and Reagan. She was instrumental in helping raise them and cheering Ruby on at any musicals she was in, as well as having a passion to bake with Reagan.

Betty is survived by her loving daughter-In-law, Melissa (Brian) Evans and her daughters: Ruby and Reagan Snyder, as well as step-grandchildren: Guy and Laura Evans; daughter, Gloria and her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry Sr. and her son, Jerry Jr.

The family is planning a gathering at a future date.

The family would like to express a thank you to Bellin Hospital staff on Second Floor, Unity Hospice especially Sam the Nurse, and Meadowbrook Oconto Falls; for all their care, comfort, and support that was given to Betty and the family.
