Betty J. Fenner, age 62, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Friday, August 25, 2023. She was born October 22, 1960 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret (Pape) Fenner.
Betty worked for many years as a CNA at Bornemann Nursing Home and most recently at GranCare, providing over 40 years of loving care.
Betty was a talented artist and loved painting. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping at Ada Lake, Waubeno, WI and spending time with her friends at their cabin in Pembine, WI. Her family and friends adored her phenomenal sense of humor. She loved gardening, plants and animals. Betty had a kind and giving heart, always placing others before herself.
Betty is survived by her partner of 13 years, Shelly Rathbun (her children, Hannah Suda and Kobey Suda) and her sisters, Kathy (Glen) Gillis and Carol Pierquet. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, Danny Monfils, special friends, Sue and Mike Baugnet, her feline companion, Nikki, as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Janice Monfils and a brother, Kenneth Fenner.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held by her family at a later date.
