It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say their good-bye to their beloved Barbara Jean (Kleinschmidt) Walinski who passed away at the age of 81. She was born November 5th, 1942, in Green Bay to Marion and Ervin Kleinschmidt. Barbara, lovingly known as Nana, loved spending time up north at the cabin (over the river and through the woods to grandmother's cabin we go), spending time with her family, and watching the wildlife. She would love for you all to remember her with tears of laughter.
She is survived by her three children: Scott (Charlene) Walinski, Karen Douglas, Kim (Rick Blosser) Walinski; five grandchildren: Casey Walinski, Dani Walinski, Abby Blosser (Christopher), Ashton Blosser (Elizabeth), Addasyn Blosser, and her favorite grandpuppy Bailey. She is further survived by her sister, Carol Hendricks, her sisters-in-law: Sharon Gerarden, Judy Destolle, Kathy (David) Micoley, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Sandy Belschner, brothers-in-law: Wayne Belschner and Ray Hendricks, and two infant siblings.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The family wanted to extend a special thanks to AseraCare Hospice (Jessie, Jake, Angie, Angela, and Amanda) and to Nana’s caregiver Tricia.
