Amarion Grant

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Amarion Grant on June 9, 2026. Amarion was the deeply loved and cherished son of Shawnie Grant and Katrina Payne. He entered this world on November 29, 2025, bringing immeasurable love and happiness to everyone who knew him.

Though Amarion's time on earth was far too brief, the joy he brought into the lives of his family will remain forever. His bright smile, infectious laughter, and sweet, happy spirit had a way of filling every room with warmth. Amarion loved being close to the people who loved him most. Hugs, cuddles, and gentle massages were among his favorite things, bringing him so much comfort that he would completely relax, his little eyes rolling back in pure contentment. Those precious moments of holding him close will forever be treasured by his family.

Although our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing that Amarion's beautiful spirit, unconditional love, and the precious memories he created in just seven short months will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Amarion is survived by his parents; his siblings: Kah'niyla Grant, Zah'ire Grant, Shawni Grant, Tre'als Payne, Katrina Payne, Shawnie Grant, Payton Grant and Nariyah Grant; grandma, Sherita Grant; Grandfather, Leonard; Aunties: Shawnice Killebrew, Deandrea Grant, Zakira Holliman and Cheleah Webb; uncle, Brandon Redmond; two great-aunts, Shelina Grant and Matika Pirtle; two great-grandparents, Bessie Grant and Willie Pirtle; and a host of other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services will be held for Amarion.
