Alan J. Walker, 78, of Green Bay, passed away on January 21, 2026 after a brief illness. He was born on April 30, 1947 to Robert and Alice (Chamberlain) Walker in Wisconsin. On September 12, 2009, he married Lynn Bethke. Alan had a zeal for gardening, spring time was amazing with all the flowers he planted through the years. He loved to give tours of his gardens and have everyone smell the different fragrances. With the fruits of his gardens Alan tried his skills at wine making. He was a very dedicated family man and outdoorsman. He enjoyed the outdoors year round and spending time with his family. Alan extended his caring personality to all animals and insects too. Three passions in Alan's life were family, nature, and other life beyond this world.
Alan is survived by his loving wife, Lynn, two children: Ken Walker and Kristy (Al) Leurquin; Lynn's children: Lisa (Tony) Meseberg, Ron Kubale, and Tim (Andie) Kubale; 13 grandchildren: Connor, Mason, Adyn, Alie, Amber, Cody, Makanzie, Dustin, Jay, Blake, Cassie, Zak, and Noah; two great-grandchildren: John and Kairi; 6 siblings: Ceil (Bill) Cocha, John (Mary) Walker, Debbie (Mark) Simon, Jeanette (Steve) DelCorps, Anna Graf, Jeff Walker; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Connie Walker, and one brother, David Walker.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Green Bay.
The family would like to extend a thank you to all the nurses and staff at St. Vincent Hospital for all their care, comfort, and compassion that was given to Alan and the family.
