Ryan J. Derginer, age 44, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home. He was born November 26, 1974 in Green Bay, son of Robert and the late Rita (Delcore) Derginer and was a graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1993.

Ryan was a talented and awarded athlete in high school and participated in wrestling, soccer and football. He wrestled with Green Bay Preble/East Varsity Wrestling and was called the "Pancake Man". From 1993-94, his record was 20-12 and his career record was 52-46. He placed 2nd in FRVC and was a regionals and sectionals qualifier 3 years, earning his Varsity Letter under Coach Willard Schmidt. After high school he continued his education at NWTC.

Ryan was a creative and gifted builder and could often be found tinkering and working on various projects. He enjoyed his trips up north where he loved to hunt, fish and sit around a big campfire with his family. He was a passionate fan of rock music and animals. Ryan's family fondly remembers him for his great sense of humor. He is gone way too soon and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

Ryan is survived by his children: Jessica, Cody, Jenny and Cayden Derginer; his grandchildren, Gemini Royalty and Kehlani Rose; his father, Robert Derginer and siblings: Rick Derginer, Roxanne (Ted) Egge and Rodney Derginer. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews: Amanda, Bobby, Teddy, Thomas and Samantha and 5 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Derginer.

Visitation will be held at St. Matthew Parish (130 St. Matthew St., Green Bay), Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9 to 11 AM. A prayer service will follow at 11 AM.
