Catherine "Cathy" Jackson, age 62, of Green Bay, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 with her loving family at her side, after a lengthy illness. She was born July 5, 1956 in Washington, PA, daughter of Harold Rentschler and the late Doris (Dutcher) Rentschler.

Cathy graduated from Mount Prospect High School, Mount Prospect, IL. She married Richard Spreda in 1980 in Stevens Point and were blessed with 2 children. She later married Joseph Jackson, October 27, 2011 in Las Vegas and they shared 7 years of marriage. Cathy was a machine operator at Zebra Technologies in Greenville, WI for 17 years before her retirement in 2018.

Cathy was a true "Chatty Cathy" and had the gift of gab. She also was a talented baker and loved to cheer on the Chicago Bears. She enjoyed camping with her friends, "The Goddesses" in Chequomegon Forest. She loved her animals and spoiled them. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Joe; her daughter, Stacey (Jarrad) Fredrickson; her granddaughter, Karter; 2 sisters, Connie (Steve) Hauswald and Darlene Rentschler; special friend, Mary; her wonderful neigbors, and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ryne "Stoney" Spreda and her mother, Doris Rentschler.

A celebration of Cathy's life will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM. There will be a sharing of memories at 6:30 PM.
