Elaine J. Holloway, age 96, of De Pere, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 26, 2018. She was born July 21, 1922 in Allouez, WI, daughter of the late Napoleon and Jane (Williquette) Dionne.

Elaine graduated from St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1940 and served as Secretary/Treasurer, responsible for organizing the class reunions. Elaine married John Holloway in 1943 and they shared over 50 loving years of marriage before he passed away in 2000. She was a faithful member of St. Willebrord Parish and a member of their Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a gifted singer and sang in different church choirs. Elaine was the director of the Palm Paradise Park (Florida) KAZOO BAND. She enjoyed playing piano and singing with her family and friends. Elaine was a First Aider and a Payroll Clerk at Hudson Sharp in Green Bay in the 1940's. She also worked as a cashier at the Dick Brothers "Bread Store" in De Pere. Her lifetime occupation was a "loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend".

Elaine loved to entertain and was an exceptional hostess. She had an open door to anyone at any time. Elaine was non-judgmental and always put others before herself. Her soul radiated unconditional love and acceptance.

Elaine is survived by her children: Mary Ellen (Gary) Hucek, Brian (JoAnn) Holloway, Kevin (Mary A.) Holloway, Kathleen (Lance) Petersen and Nora (Dan) Brunette; grandchildren: John (Shawnie) Hucek, Dean (Diana) Hucek, Jennifer (Mike) Pranke, Scooter (Jessina) Holloway, Matthew (Jacy) Petersen, Lizzy (Mike) Walters, Dionne (Sara) Holloway and Desireé Johnson; great-grandchildren: Hunter & Cooper Hucek, Skyelar & Greysen Hucek, Jarren, Cullen & Della Holloway, Nicholas Pranke, Owen & Emma Walters, Kali Petersen, Brennan Holloway, Cora, Lamar, Johnavin Brunette, Kaziya, Tramaine, Kaziencris Jr. and Sophia Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John P. Holloway; brothers: Alfred Dionne, Steve Dionne, Harry Dionne, Carl Dionne, Ray Dionne, Rev. Luke Dionne, O.Praem and two infant brothers; sisters: Eva Dionne Kimble, Ruth Dionne Siepert, Elizabeth Dionne VandenHeuvel, Florence Dionne Lieffort and Margaret Dionne.

Visitation will be held at St. Willebrord Parish (209 S. Adams St., Green Bay), Monday, October 15, 2018 from 9 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Fr. Andy Cribben, O. Praem, celebrant. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
