Survivors include his siblings, Father Loren Nys, Sandy Meyer and Sharon (Joseph) Bangert; sister-in-law, Debbie Nys; nieces and nephews, Kris Pezon, Jeff Bangert, Jody Meyer, Michelle Johnson and Drew Nys.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Denis Nys.
