Cleo Basinski, 89, of Green Bay, beloved wife of the late Harold "Buzz" Basinski, entered Eternal Life on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Cleo was born on March 4, 1928 in East St. Louis, Illinois, daughter of the late Christos and Paniota (Mallios) Demetrulias, As the daughter of immigrant parents, she was raised within the Greek community in Illinois. Cleo was always extremely proud of her Greek heritage. One of her great joys was being able to visit Greece. She met her husband Harold at a restaurant they were both working at. They were married only three months later and spent many years of happy marriage together raising their six children. Because of her love of people Cleo worked for numerous Supper Clubs, and enjoyed connecting with her customers. She was an avid Golfer in her spare time. Cleo was actively involved in her Church, attending bible studies, teaching Sunday School, and exercising her faith daily. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will forever be remembered for the way she cared for and loved everyone.

She is survived by five children: Sandra (Dennis) Hinic, Pamela (Brian) Stitch, Harold "Bud" Basinski Jr., Jeffrey (Marlene) Basinski, and David (Stacey) Basinski. Cleo also leaves her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves her sister, Frances Armstrong along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by a son, Keith Basinski.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Central Church, 831 Schoen Street, Green Bay. A funeral service celebrating Cleo's life will follow at 2 PM in the Sanctuary. Interment will be with her husband at King Veterans Cemetery. Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
