Mr. Charles “Charlie” A. Doperalski age 76 of Green Bay passed away on Friday January 9th 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital following a short illness. Charlie was born October 4, 1938 to the late Leo and Mildred (Molle) Doperalski.

Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and fishing. He belonged to the Kewaunee Hunting and Fishing Club. He dedicated his life giving back to his community, volunteering for many efforts such as The Aging and Disabilities Resource Center. He also was very active in his church and donating to the causes that were important to him such as World Missions, The Humane Society and The Bridge Between. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include: One sister Molle Schneider (Edward); three children; Michelle Grant (Dean), Kelly Gauthier (Edward) and Jeff (Dawn (Schneider). 6 Grandchildren; Travis Janowski, Amy Janowski, Asha (Nate Prevost) Bohrtz, Joseph Doperalski, Jackson Doperalski, Benjamin Doperalski. 5 Step Grandchildren; Michael Hanson, Bobbi Jo Van Duesen, Stephanie Grant, Nicole Grant and Bailey Townsend. One Great Grandchildren: Ava Janowski. Two Step Great Grandchildren; Blaze Harjala and Ayden Townsend. Three nephews; Edward (Peggy) Schneider, Tom (Tammy Schneider), Todd (Laurie) Schneider.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Mildred (Molle) and Leo Doperalski. Two siblings John and Mable Doperalski and One Grandchild Heather Janowski.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:45am on Monday, February 9, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 340 S. Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI. A memorial service will be held, 12 noon at the funeral home.

Our family would like to thank the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital for their kindness and care during this difficult time. We would also like to say a special thank you to Stephanie Grant for her dedication as a friend and caregiver to our Dad for the last year and a half, we would not have been able to do it without you!
