David Harley Larson, age 43, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born December 30, 1971 in Green Bay, son of the late Jay Shyrock and Gale Larson and graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1990.

David married the love of his life, Melissa Wicker, March 15, 1997 in Green Bay and together they shared 24 loving years together. David was a well-respected supervisor at Valley Cabinet, De Pere, WI. Motorcycle riding was David’s passion along with fishing and spending time at his Door County cottage. He opened his heart and his home to foster children and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

David is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; brother, Jared (fiancée Amber Fitzgeral) Shyrock; nephews, Isaac and Liam Shyrock; paternal grandmother, Sue Shyrock; mother and father-in law, Bill and Mary Ann Behrendt; sister-in-law, Courtney (fiancée Jake Konkel), special friends, Jon Toepfer and Mary Lade (David’s second mom) and 3 canine companions: Oreo, Cooper, and his special dog, Eddie.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Danny Wicker.

Friends and relatives may call NICOLET MEMORIAL GARDENS AND MAUSOLEUM, (2770 Bay Settlement Rd., Green Bay) on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 10 AM to 12 NOON. A funeral service will follow at 12 NOON.
