Sonja “Toni” Temple, age 77, of Maribel, passed away, Tuesday, November 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 8, 1938 in Omro, WI, daughter of the late Roy and Irene (Champeau) Schmude. Toni married David Temple, Sr. and together they shared 56 loving years of marriage together. Toni and David drove truck together for 14 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, NASCAR, watching golf, cooking and playing cards. Her family was her pride and joy and her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Toni is survived by her husband; 8 children: Bruce (Angel), John (Sue), Robin (Jeff), David, Jr., Jeff (Teresa), Ann (Richard), Kim (Chuck) and Kay (Roger); 26 grandchildren: Danielle (Robert), Bruce (Karrin), Savannah, Walker, Jason, Adam, Betty, Mathew (Ashley), Melissa (Carlos), Jared (McKenzie), Breanna (Trey), Dylan, Nathan, Dakota (David), Dominique, Tyler, Laci, David, Dustynne, Sadie, Chasidy (Matt), Dustin, Travis, Kyle, Zachery and Courtney; 15 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Kayla, Gabriella, David, Hunter, Saysha, Aron, MaKalynn, Skylar, Isaias, Torrence, Alliyah, Kayden, Oliver and Addilynn; 3 brothers: Rex (Anna), Jay and Wayne; sister, Dawn Hammes; 4 sisters-in-law: Anita, Betty, Ina and Jenny; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean; an infant son; mother and father-in-law, J. Emory and Jean Temple; 3 sisters: Doris, Charlotte (Paul) and Donna (Richard); an infant sister and 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Powers and Dwight Temple.

Friends and relatives may call at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, (340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay) on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM. Visitation will continue at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10 to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
