Tammy Thompson, 56, of Green Bay, the most beautiful Angel left us to be with her father and grandparents on Friday, February 23, 2018 after a courageous battle against cancer, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Tammy was born on November 24, 1961 in Oconto, WI daughter of Yvonne (Gordon) Schmid and the late Ronald Thompson. She attended Oconto grade school and later graduated from Southwest High School. Tammy attended Fox Valley Technical College. She was employed at St. Vincent Hospital for 27 years.

She is survived by her mother Yvonne (Gordon) Schmid, and brothers Martin (Rose) Thompson and Cameron Thompson along with a nephew, Connor Thompson. Tammy also leaves a step-brother, Jeff (Kelly) Schmid, and a step-sister, Brenda (Rick) LaFave and a very special friend, David Villenauve.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1st from 4 PM - 6PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A memorial service celebrating Tammy's life will follow at 6 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in her honor.

Tammy's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her wonderful caregivers and her amazing staff family at St. Vincent Hospital.

Tammy always had a smile and giggle for anyone. "Nighty Night Mom."
