Oconto Falls, Wisconsin – James “Jim” Carl Kobus, 73 years, passed away, January 5, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Oconto Falls, WI. He was born September 9, 1944 in Marinette, Wisconsin. He was co-owner of the Kobus Sheve Mobile Home Park in Pound, WI. Jim also served as a volunteer with the fire department of the Town of Brazeau in Oconto County.

Jim grew up in Pound, Wisconsin. He loved living in Oconto county and spent most of his life there. In his spare time, Jim liked to hunt, fish, spend time with friends and ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Jim will be missed by his children: Carrie Ann Melton, John James Kobus, and Lynn Sue Guyette, his four grandchildren: Crystal, Carla, Joey and Breanna, sister, Linda F. Sheve, and brother-in-law, Herbert Russell “Russ” Sheve. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his loving mother, Crystal Kobus and father, John M. Kobus.

In lieu of a memorial service at this time, a celebration of life will be forthcoming.

The family of Jim extends a thank you to the staff of Atrium Post Acute Care of Oconto Falls and St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay for their professional and loving care of him during his final days.
