JJ Acevedo
JJ was a champ-a true fighter. He fought bravely with his parents and family for one year. Unfortunately it was time for this champ, JJ to spread his wings. He now lives in Heaven in God's arms and will always be in the hearts of those who loved him. JJ will NEVER be forgotten. His memory will live on through his parents, brother and sister and other loved ones and friends.
JJ is survived by his parents, Juan Carlos Acevedo and Jessica Guzman; big sister, Alondra Acevedo; big brother, JC Acevedo; paternal grandparents, Elvira Salas and Tomas Acevedo; maternal grandparents, Patricia Ruiz and Guillermo Lopez; uncles and aunts: Ernesto Guzman, Johanna Iñiguez, Stephanie Lopez, Uriel Acevedo, Tomas Acevedo, Jr., Ruby Acevedo, Michelle Acevedo, José Acevedo, Jesse Acevedo, Natasha Acevedo. He is further survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at St. Willebrord Parish (209 S. Adams St, Green Bay), Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 11:30am to 12:30pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30pm with Fr. Jack McCarthy, celebrant. Interment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions has been entrusted with arrangements.
JJ's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Children's Hospital, Newcomer, as well as family members and friends who have reached out to them. We are so grateful for their exceptional care of JJ and support of our family.
