Ronald E. Morgan, age 80, of Howard, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017, with his family by his side.

He was born on January 13, 1937, in Wauwatosa, WI. Ron graduated from high school in Bergland, MI.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1958 and served his country until 1960. Ron was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. Ron married Jacquline Konetsky on April 20, 1963.

Ronald worked for Standard Oil in Milwaukee and was transferred to Green Bay in 1977. He worked in maintenance until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, feeding squirrels, puzzles and working various projects.

Ron was a very gentle and caring man who had a great sense of humor, and was known for his strong work ethic and ingenuity.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Jacqueline Morgan; sons, Gary (Tracy) Morgan and Michael (Shao Ying) Morgan; grandson, Jacob; brother-in-law, Thomas Konetsky.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse & Beatrice Morgan; son, Bradley Morgan; sister, Harriet Sonsthagen.

A celebration of his life will happen at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bellin Hospital Medical Unit and all of the wonderful doctors and nurses who were touched by Ron. They would also like to thank Odd Fellows Nursing Home, and friends that helped them through this trying time, especially Pam.
