James A. Seewald, age 62, entered his Heavenly home on January 18, 2023. He was born to Ralph & Joyce Seewald on February 24, 1960, in Marinette.

He grew up on the family farm in Coleman. He attended Coleman Schools and graduated in 1978. He worked various jobs over many decades, but his favorite was his last, maintenance at the Coleman School District. He loved seeing the kids every day. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling with the grandkids, rigging up some sort of Jim fix and most of all being a Papa, not only to his 5 grandkids, but to many students in the school.

James is survived by his wife, Brenda; children: Joshua (Jackie) Seewald, Lacey (Nick) Kuchta and Kailey Seewald. He is further survived by his father, Ralph Seewald; his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Norman & Edith Walker; two sisters-in law, Lisa Weber & Maggie Walker. Also, sisters: Sandra Seewald, Carma Tress, Karen (Dan) Frye; brothers, Larry (Paula) Seewald & Michael (Kathy) Seewald; grandchildren: Cameron Seewald, Levi Kuchta, Parker Seewald, Emily Kuchta & Carly Seewald & many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Seewald, a nephew, Jarrod Tress, two brothers-in-law, James Weber & Rodney Walker.

A celebration of James’s life will be held on February 24th, his birthday, at Equity Hall at 4 pm, 7403 Highway 64, Pound, WI. To leave a message of condolence for the family, please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com.
