Kurt Joseph "Joe" Huberty, age 81, of Green Bay, passed away at his home early on August 27, 2022, the day of his late wife's birthday. Joe was dearly loved by his two daughters, Stephanie Marie Janett & Stacie Lea (Willie) Lindberg, as well as his grandchildren, extended family, & many close friends & neighbors. Joe was known for his gregarious nature & willingness to help out anyone in a pinch.

Joe was born on June 27, 1941 in Lena, WI to the late Rosalie (Vanderperren) & Clement Huberty. He was raised on a farm by his mother with his siblings; his parents divorced when he was a young boy. Joe graduated from Lena High School & then enlisted in the Air Force in 1961. Joe was famous for telling people the exact length of time in the armed services: 3 years, 5 months, & 46 days.

After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Joe studied Mechanical & Electrical Engineering at Green Bay School of Vocational & Adult Education. He worked at SS Kresge Co. for a time, which eventually became KMart. Joe was employed as the Receiving Manager for KMart for over 36 years. In his later years, he worked for Kohl's. Joe had great relations with his fellow coworkers, who wrote him messages of encouragement over the years, & he cherished their kind & positive feedback.

Joe met Caroline "Carol" Lillian Besaw in 1963 & they wed in 1966. Carol was the love of his life & they were together for almost 50 years until she passed in 2014. Joe & Carol took many vacations with their girls, primarily to Crivitz, WI & Six Flags Great America. In their later years, Joe & Carol entertained friends & neighbors with chicken booyah parties.

Joe is survived by his two daughters; his 3 grandchildren: Maya Jeanne, Kyle Joseph, & Troy William, & 2 siblings, Leah (Bob) & John (MaryLynn). He is further survived by numerous in laws, other relatives, & friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Carol, 5 brothers, & a sister.
