He had practically memorized every Andy Griffith episode, and was always first in line at the Booyah Kettle. Steve's children will always be grateful for the wonderful father and all the love and care he gave each day of his life.

He is survived by his wife Doreen and their three children: Emmie Hansen, Steve (Keegan) Hansen, and Ryan (Amy) Hansen. Steve also leaves two beloved grandchildren: Donovan Harris and Daylon Harris and one on the way, Ridley Hansen, who he had been waiting to meet. Steve also leaves two sisters: Laurie (Kelly) Irish and Lisa (Tom) Shallow, sister-in-law, Jean Hansen. along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, along with numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by a brother, Randy Hansen and a sister, Beverly Hansen.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13th from 4 PM - 6 PM at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A private family service will follow. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

Steve's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Patricia Lipp-Strayer for the gift of life she selflessly gave in donating a kidney to Steve in 2013. They would also like to thank the staff of St. Vincent Hospital for the care given to Steve.
